In front of a sold out crowd at the Aguas Caliente Casino Resort in Rancho Mirage California, WBO jr welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (25-0 11 KOs) successfully made the move up to welterweight, outpointing previously unbeaten Luis Carlos Abregu (29-0, 23 KOs) after twelve near perfect rounds on Saturday night.

Early on Bradley seemed to want to make a statement at 147 lbs, rocking Abregu in the second with a huge right hand and recklessly went in for the kill. Unfortunately that and a couple well placed left hooks would be the highlights of the night. Midway through Bradley seemed content with getting the win and simply cruised to a dominate unanimous decision with scores of 118-110, 117-111, 116-112.

After the fight Bradley went on to challenge Manny Pacquiao at 147 and Devon Alexander at 140 lbs but only if the money was right.

In the Co-feature, Heavy-handed Jr middleweight Alfredo Angulo (19-1, 16 KOs) scored a  first round TKO over Joachim Alcine (32-2-1, 19 KOs). Angulo applied pressure early which caused Alcine to hold on for dear life. Angulo pounded Alcine with his free right hand during the clinch, hurting Alcine which opened him up for a furious combination of punches. Referee Lou Moret stepped in and waved it off at 2:59 after Alcine appeared to be out on his feet.

WBC #1 rated lightweight Antonio Demarco (24-2-1 18 KOs) stopped Daniel Attah (24-6-1 8 KOs) at the 2:30 mark of the second round. DeMarco landed a devastating right hand that sent Attah to the canvas in the final minute. Attah would make it to his feet but after a flurry of shots by DeMarco, referee Raul Caiz Jr. stepped in to halt the beating.

Undefeated lightweight Art Hovhannesyan (12-0-1 6 KOs) of Glendale Ca. won a unanimous decision over journeyman Christian Favela (19-28-6 10 KOs) of Los Angeles Ca. after a full eight rounds. Scores were 78-74 and 77-75 twice.

Gloria Salas (3-4-1 1KO) of Rancho Mirage won a unanimous decision over Katrina De La Cruz (0-4-1). Scores were 39-37 and 40-36 twice.

Joel Diaz (1-0) was successfull in his professional debut with his second round KO over Rene Torrez (0-3-1) Time was 23 seconds.

Featherweight prospect Abraham Lopez (12-0 10 KOs) scored a third round TKO over Wishaun Boxley (5-6 3 KOs) after 3 rounds to remain unbeaten. Boxley did not answer the bell for the fourth at the request of his corner.

Santa Barbara's Ruffino Serrano (6-3) unanimously upset previously unbeaten Eduardo Cruz (1-1 1KO) after four crowd pleasing rounds.
